The Water Lantern Festival is committed to ensuring a sustainable event. We believe in ‘Leaving no trace’, prioritizing the preservation of each event venue. With an in-depth clean-up process throughout our festivals, we believe in leaving each community better than we found it.

Our team of event experts follows an in-depth process to clean up every lantern following each event. We also ensure that we pick up any existing trash that may have previously been in or around the water.

Our lanterns are crafted out of sustainable materials, with a biodegradable paper cover and a wooden lantern base. We prioritize the reuse and recycling of LED candles whenever possible, further reducing our environmental footprint. By embracing these eco-conscious choices, we strive to create a greener and more sustainable event experience for all.
